Oskar and David

Here are a bunch of recent photos of David with Oskar. My favorite is the one where Oskar is sitting in his lap smiling. We went to Hardly Strictly Bluegrass this past weekend in Golden Gate Park. It was packed but we found a spot on a hillside and had a picnic of homemade oatmeal chocolate chip cookies and purple grapes. The last song of the set we managed to catch the end of....was "This Land is Your Land". They encourage everyone to stand up and sing. I stood up with Oskar and immediately got teary eyed. Something about dancing with my son, outdoors, singing this land is your land, and I was mush. I loved every minute of it. I embrace my inner hippie. :) At one point, we were supposed to jump up and down - David joined us and tossed lil O in the air. His giggles and grins were infectious. It was the perfect afternoon.
