Thanksgiving

18 adults and 6 kids.

5 European style courses:
*Pumpkin & Butternutsquash Soup with Creme Fraiche
*Turkey with gravy, veggie stuffing, sausage stuffing, brussel sprouts, mashed potatoes, candied yams,
*Persimmon and mixed green salad
*Apple pie, Pecan Pie, Flourless chocolate cake, vanilla ice cream, creme fraiche, butter pecan ice cream and chocolate chocolate chip ice cream
*Gourmet cheeses - one stinky but yummy taleggio and truffle honey

Everyone was amazing with their potluck dishes and chosen "job". Holly's turkey was done an hour early than planned. It was cooked in our rental unit's oven which we think runs much hotter than our newer one.

The outdoor group pictures were during our passeggiata after salad and before dessert/cheese plate. The dessert wines did make an early appearance and were sipped during the stroll.
