The new year has brought colds to the whole family. Oskar healed first...then me, then David. Oskar began the year crawling backwards, babbling up a storm (Ma-ma, Ma-ma, Da-dah, da-dah, ba-ba, ba-ba, etc).
Milla has taken lots of pictures to make up for our lack of photography. The first series are the two soon after New Years. We had lots of rain so Milla's former kids (Dylan and Noah) who are now taken care of by her friend Carla, came over for a play date. Oskar and Gael love to watch the older boys and listen to them read to them. the bath pictures and identical pair of polka dot jammies were from an evening that Milla stayed late so we could go to the East Bay to see Jamie, his sister and new baby, Kristen and Sabine. Milla's hand is grasping Oskar's arm because he kept sliding under the water. Usually, he is in a smaller infant tub and doesn't have the excitement of a buddy to bath with. Clearly, they had a great time.
This week he moved from crawl position to sitting-up then pulling himself up to standing(!). A few new top teeth are coming in...he started grinding his 2 bottom ones with his top ones yesterday at breakfast. David and I could not believe our ears.
