A new Museum

Many moons ago, I volunteered at the Bay Area Discovery Museum in Sausalito in their multimedia room. Maybe it has changed since then.....I had no idea how amazing it was!

Oskar and I went with our new neighborhood friends, Jolie and Chasin (2 and the same size as Oskar), and had a blast in the Tot/Toddler room and then in the bigger kids area where they have dumptrucks with pebbles, hidden treasure in an abandoned boat, a replica of the golden gate bridge..only unfinished. I was told by a 5-6 year old that they were working on the bridge and that it would be ready tomorrow. :-) Can't wait to take Daisy here.

Oskar was given perhaps a bit too much free reign (large picture is post splash - translation: per joy) and he soaked himself in the moat which had fake fish and frogs. Who cares about fake reptiles and fish when you have a long river to splash in? Even with an apron, which they provide (Mimi and Sardine which I love!) and he was soaked through. Fortunately, Jolie had an extra T-shirt.

After the Museum, we went to my new obsession - Plantain and Black Bean burritos at Little Chihuahua. I have converting everyone I know. So far only Milla didn't like them.

  1. Wow! That looks like so much fun! I'm sure Oskar will want to go back often - me too! Gramsy
