O did a somersault the other day for the first time. He does a version of downward dog - but he is imitating a cat from a favorite Eric Carle book called "From Head to Toe".
This picture is O's signature. Anytime someone says Giraffe or we see a Giraffe in any book and O will lean his head over. We have a video of David, Oskar and Daisy doing all the poses that I will try to upload soon. Need to find it.
He always says "Uvas" which means grapes in spanish. Cherry tomatoes, blueberries, actual grapes. Anything small and round is deemed Uva-worthy.
Other words: Ba-Ba for bottle, Da-da, Ma-ma, MM-uh for yes, uh-uh for no, Silla for chair (spanish)...
Discipline. Oskar loves to throw water out of the tub. The other night he had a cup and after dunking the cup in the water he would throw the water out of the cup. I took away the cup. He grabbed an applique shape and used it to lift water our. He laughed heartily afterward. It is very hard to discipline a child when they make you laugh.

We have a giraffe at our zoo that Oskar can feed! Can't wait to take him there. Gramsy
