January Catch-up on events since November but before Christmas

Lots has happened since I last wrote, David and I went away to Stinson Beach for a weekend without Oskar, our first time 2 nights away, to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We stayed at a rental that we won at a silent auction for the SF Food Bank. That is the last of our winnings.  We bumped into Tucker, Lisa, Jon, Faye and Ruby on one of our walks on the beach and we enjoyed a wedding present from a high school friend who gave us a gift certificate to the Olema Inn. A magical place to have a delicious dinner.

Next came Thanksgiving with Grandma. Even though we had a gorgeous turkey, we decided to spend Thanksgiving a Ben's place in Oakland with Kent, Bonnie and Audrey. We were a tad out of place with the crowd given that most were single and Tday stragglers, but we had fun.
The day after Thanksgiving was spent cooking a turkey at home. It was lots of fun to stay at home and cook turkey without needing to cook everything else that deserves to be at the same table. Brian and Jolie had no water at home so they were frequent visitors in the morning.

You might have wondered what our lovely threesome does all day. Milla on occaision takes pictures during her time with Gael, Devin and Oskar. Sometimes it takes us days or weeks to find the photos or videos, but it is always a treat to get a glimpse of their day with her.

And then there are the activities that led up to Christmas, Legos at Randall Museum, decorating gingerbread man at crafts fair in our Rec center, playing with his new kitchen paraphenalia (cutting banana and making cookies), pushing stroller that Milla gave him and playing with paints that Aunt Heidi gave us back in August:

Need to go to sleep, Christmas tour coming soon....

  1. What fun to have a glimpse into Oskar's life! I loved the rain pictures with the slickers and rubber boots and puddles! And what neat cookies to go with his kitchen. Thanks for the peak at the three boys exploring their world together. Gramsy
