Tuesday morning is garbage day. When possible, Oskar and David are waving to the garbage and compost trucks. Sometimes they even walk outside to say hi. This week, after another round of waving and smiles, the garbage man knocked on our door with a present for Oskar. His very own miniature compost bin. Oskar carried it around all day and still favors it amongst his toys.
Great going, Oskar! You can put your kitchen scraps in there when you're cooking in your kitchen. Then you can bury them in the dirt in the garden!! That will probably be your favorite part of the process! Never to early to learn!
