Boopah and Gramsy went down South to explore the wonders between here and Big Sur. They enjoyed meals at our favorite places Nepenthe and Post Ranch Inn as well as enjoyed the baths and massages during an afternoon visit at Esalen. Bathing suits were in hand but soon abandoned upon entering the facilities. There is more attention drawn with a bathing suit than without.
Oskar worked on his frisbee throw in the back yard with Boopah and David....he still does not like the merry-go-round and honestly, and I don't blame him. It makes many people a bit dizzy.
Boopah and Oskar often went for short walks around the block, and of course, there was lots of reading.
We often rake and mow the backyard and Oskar wants to help. The funny picture with a dried fig hanging out of his mouth has him holding onto his new multi-colored rake which he had under the couch. He helped Boopah rake the yard a few times.
Oh and I almost forgot. Boopah gave Oskar a haircut on our deck. Oskar was somewhat bribed with his favorite "uvas(aka grapes)" for the first part. He was very patient.
Oskar no longer needs a band-aid though his Sesame Street ones are very popular and more than one child in the neighborhood has begun to copy his trend. We use it mainly for sun protection.
