We went with the Roth family to the beach but the beach was cold and foggy so we headed to the zoo at the other end of the beach. Ocean beach is a very long beach (3.5 miles), so it ended up being a very long ride.
The visit to the zoo was brief, carousel and train were main stops, as we wanted a hot lunch at the Park Chalet on the way home and to be home in time for naptime.
