(I know this is a delayed post, out of sequence...attempting to update the blog prior to the arrival of #2. )
We all flew down to La Jolla together on a Saturday. David left on Monday, so it was O and I together all week without Daddy. Having outgrown the pack-n-play, Oskar ended up sleeping on the couch with the coffee table nearby and pillows on top to ensure that there was no rolling out of the bed in the middle of the night.
We brought Daisy body crayons which were a big hit and Oskar was a willing candidate. Daisy gave Oskar some very special books about trucks, an animal train and a cement truck called Melvin. We read them endlessly.
