It is amazing what bribing a 2 1/2 year old boy with Hot Wheels will get you. A few books and a deck of cards later and Oskar produced a very healthy stool specimen. David bought a 20 pack of cars and a race track. Since this first event, Oskar has earned 3 cars so far. 2 poops and 1 voluntary pee. Go kiddo go.
For the record, I was opposed to potty training at this time due to advice that said it shouldn't be done too close to the arrival of a new sibling. Oskar is getting lots of attention for being a big boy going potty so perhaps this is a good diversion from the baby brother stuff.
Way to go, Oskar! Hot Wheel cars work miracles! I was there to celebrate the big occasion! Grammy
