Family at the Beach

Oskar's friend, Marcus, from nursery school had a birthday at the beach. Marcus is now in Kindergarten at the Waldorf School. Oskar misses the older boys that graduated and they often feature in stories - Kainoa, Marcus, Shunri and Micah.

At the party, Marcus was more interested in the older boys than his younger friend Oskar. Oskar tagged along trying to keep up with them. At one point Oskar stood still in a moment of decision, watching Marcus run away with his older buddy and then watching his friend Stella with her friend. Girls his age or older boys. Girls his age or older boys. He stood there for a while.

    Don't leave us hanging! Which way did he go - with the girls or the boys???? My heart went out to him as he stood there suddenly aware that sometimes "kids move on".... Life's little lessons! Gramsy
